Money is considered as a medium, exchanged for goods and service and is used as a measure of affluence.

• The money is written in many ways and its units are cents, dollars etc.

• Money is marked in particular way. Cents may be write with the ¢ sign and dollars is write with the dollar sign ($) Example:$125.23

125 is the dollar amount and the 0.23 is the cents.

Step 1: Convert all different units in one unit.

Step 2: Add the money by keeping the money unit as it is.
